The EDB3225 is a molded case circuit breaker that belongs to Series C of the circuit breakers manufactured by Cutler-Hammer. Circuit breakers have been used as a replacement for fuses because they respond more quickly, they are more reliable and sensitive, and they can be reset once they have been interrupted. The EDB3225 Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breaker is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker and it features 3 poles. It functions using a combination of magnets and heat to interrupt processes. The EDB3225 Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breaker operates with a voltage of 240 Volts AC and it has an interrupt rating of 22,000 AC. This circuit breaker operates with a maximum continuous current rating of 225 Amps at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.
This circuit breaker also features non-interchangeable trip units which are suitable for reverse feeds. It has an approximate shipping weight of 4.5 pounds (2.0 kilograms) and an approximate width of 4.13 inches (105.0 millimeters), a height of 6.00 inches (152.4 millimeters), and a depth of 3.38 inches (86.0 millimeters).
