About the EHD2100

The EHD2100 is an F frame molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton. F frame circuit breakers are compatible with reverse feed use and high-intensity discharge, and they have an HACR rating. The circuit breaker has 100 Amps of current and a power rating of 480 Volts AC, 250 Volts DC. It is capable of 14 kAIC. The EHD2100 is designed with a 2-pole Series C NEMA enclosure type for added protection under adverse industrial situations. This molded case circuit breaker can withstand a harsh environment and yet keep functioning. The circuit breaker has cable input and output modes which are Type EHD. The EHD2100 can withstand 100 Amps of maximum continuous current at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The EHD2100 features the added options of a fixed thermal magnetic trip and load terminals only, excluding the line terminal. The load terminal in the circuit breaker is mostly used for better connectivity of lines over a specific range of continuous connection of different wire types.

The specially designed Eaton molded case circuit breaker switches are used as compact switches which can perform switching between the high current when the need arises after automatically sensing it instantly. The molded compacts switches are also enlisted with the UL 489 standards. These features make the EHD2100 one of the highest-performing molded circuit breakers available on the market. The EHD2100 is packed with a terminal shield kit that adds approximately 3 inches to the height of the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker is shipped with the following internal accessories: an alarm lockout, an auxiliary switch (1A, 1B), an alarm switch combination, an under voltage release mechanism, and a shunt trip for standard and low energy mode. The following external accessories are also included: an end cap kit, a keeper nut, a control wire terminal, a multi-wire connector, base mounting hardware, terminal shields, interface barriers, and a non-pad lockable handle block only for the left pole.
