About the GDB3035

The GDB3035 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the GDB Type molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker operates with 3 poles, 3 phases, 35 Amps of current rating, 480 Volts AC, 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and instantaneous trip functions. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame G enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker features a breaker interface device that is a panel-mounted operator interface module which is installed in a remote position. The breaker interface device is applied to accessing, configuring, testing, and displaying information about the Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker trip units and other components. The breaker interface device features 18 LEDs, 4 windows for display, 8 function buttons, and a graphical time to indicate the Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker’s operating status, energy monitoring, and protection status.

The users are recommended to provide a 24 Volts DC power source which is necessary for powering the breaker interface device. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker is equipped with an auxiliary power device for providing a trip test during the absence of control power in the circuit breaker. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker is configured with an IQ Energy Sentinel module designated for monitoring power and energy readings. The IQ Energy Sentinel module saves on space, it has lower installation expenses than other modules, and it is capable of remote monitoring. The IQ Energy Sentinel module is mounted on the load side of the Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker can be racked remotely, greatly increasing the easy accessibility for service and safety by placing the users at a greater distance from the arc flash. The Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker features a maintenance mode for enabling lower instantaneous pickups to reduce the potential of an arc flash energy release when servicing the Cutler-Hammer GDB3035 circuit breaker.
