About the HJD2250F

Manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer, the HJD2250F Molded Case Circuit Breaker is part of the Series C, J-frame, and HJD product line of Eaton circuit breakers. It has an AIC rating of 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, or one of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and it operates at an amperage rating of 250 Amps, a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC with 2 poles, and 1-phase operation process. The HJD2250F has an interchangeable thermal magnetic trip. The HJD2250F also features a high interrupting capacity, a maximum operating temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, and a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz, line and load terminals, and a bolt-on connection. The Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breakers, including the HJD2250F, are specially designed to offer circuit protection for systems with low voltage distribution. NEMA describes these circuit breakers as devices made for closing and interrupting the circuit between independent contacts in both normal and abnormal settings.
