About the JT3125T

The JT3125T is a 125 Amps rated trip unit that is applicable to J-frame molded case circuit breakers. This unit includes thermal and magnetic trips that are used to protect 3-phase electric circuits. This unit belongs to Eaton’s C Series of J-frame molded case circuit breakers. To customize the JT3125T trip unit to a particular application after the physical installation of the unit inside of the MCCB, users will have to set the trip current values. Users will do this by setting the magnetic element of each of the 3 poles of the trip unit by rotating the red buttons on the front side of the trip unit with a small screwdriver. The buttons have indicated positions for values in multiples of the nominal ampere rating.

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer JT3125T circuit breaker supports many accessories that are used to provide even better protection options and feedback signals than other circuit breakers. Users can install an auxiliary switch, an undervoltage mechanism with a handle or with a manual reset, a shunt trip, and a low-energy shunt trip. In the normal state, the trip unit can be attached to 600 Volts AC voltages. The housing dimensions of the module are 104.9 millimeters x 254.0 millimeters x 103.1 millimeters (4.13 inches x 10 inches x 4.06 inches). Before installing the trip unit into the circuit breaker frame, always check the device for completeness and for any damage.
