The Eaton KES3400LSG is a molded case circuit breaker that is designed and manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker is part of Series C of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer Type KES molded case circuit breakers. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker features 15 to 2500 Amps of current rating, the high-speed “blow-open” action, an interchangeable Digitrip RMS 310 trip unit with LSG - Long-Time, Short-Time, and Ground Fault trip functions, three poles, and also a solid state electronic trip unit. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker is contained in the Frame K Enclosure Type. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker’s line and load terminals offer the users a secure means of connecting the proper wires for the desired ranges of the continuous current ratings.

The terminal for connecting the Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker wire is protected by lock washers, and by 2 pan-head and slotted screws whose torque loading or retightening load can be examined correctly from the front side of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker before mounting the conductors. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker’s line and load terminal conductors are located at the conducting holes which are found on the wire connecting terminal. The line and load terminal conductors are protected with recessed socket screws which are tightened to the correct torque loading. The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KES3400LSG circuit breaker’s electronic trip unit configuration offers the users a typical overload relay performance and it secures the circuit breaker from short-circuiting against the phase-to-phase or the phase-to-ground faults.
