The DK2300 is an Eaton Series C Complete Molded Case Circuit Breaker. The DK2300 has shipping dimension of 4.1 inches in length, 5.5 inches in height, and 5.5 inches in width; the module weighs around 1 pound when shipped. The DK2300 is a UL 489 Device and is intended to provide protection for service entrance, feeder, and branch circuits. The module features an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 240 Volts and 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. In addition, the module features a “K” type frame with an Amperage of 300 Amperes. It comes with a 2-pole module and features a complete breaker type with a DK Circuit Breaker. The Frequency rating for the DK2300 is 50 to 60 Hertz with a line and load terminal type. The voltage rating for this module is 240 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC and the module is made of aluminum and comes with a fixed thermal trip type and fixed magnetic trip type.
This circuit breaker is available in the market as an individual component featuring a frame and trip unit terminals. Alternatively, the user can also order the factory assembled complete breakers. The K-Frame circuit breaker comes with non-interchangeable trip units that are suitable for the reverse feed use. The DK2300 is generally used for panelboards, switchboards, motor control centers, and busway applications for a dependable branch circuit protection. The DK2300 has a shunt trip and undervoltage release options. It doesn’t come with a neutral pole and also lacks a neutral protection feature.
