About the HKD3300

The HKD3300 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker that is manufactured and designed by Cutler-Hammer and it is part of the C Series of circuit breakers. This specific model is characterized by a high interrupting capacity. It is a factory-assembled circuit that has a frame, terminal, and a trip unit. The Cutler-Hammer HKD3300 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker operates with a voltage of 600 Volts AC and a maximum amperage of 300 Amps at a standard temperature. The standard temperature is the temperature used at the moment of the calibration. The Cutler-Hammer HKD3300 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker is calibrated at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. If higher temperatures are required, the breaker must be calibrated again or derated by at least 20%. Also, if the breaker is going to be used within an enclosure, it must be derated first.
