About the KDC3200

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer KDC3200 Molded Case Circuit Breaker is a general purpose circuit breaker in the C series, K Frame family of factory assembled thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, with an interchangeable trip unit. This circuit breaker comes standard with line and load terminals designed to meets users wiring needs, and it also has a 3-pole wiring designed suited for 3-phase and 1-phase applications. The KDC3200 has a continuous current rating of 200 Amps, and it is rated for Ultra High Interrupting Capacity Current Limiting applications, with a very high interrupting capacity of 100 KAIC. It is designed for applications with a maximum operating voltage of 600 Volt AC or 250 Volt DC, and it can be wired for reverse feed use.

The KDC3200 consist of a standard Copper/Aluminium line and load terminals (TA300K), and adjustable trip unit, and a frame enclosure made of insulation material. It provides both thermal and magnetic trip action achieved by a bimetal strip which will deflect upon being heated by prolonging current overload and an electromagnet which will cause a very fast acting trip action when the line load current reaches a designated value set by users. The KDC3200’s operation status is indicated via an operating mechanism, which indicates the position of the breaker (Tripped, OFF, or ON), and it also provides means of operating the breakers contact. The KDC3200 is designed to operate around a temperature below 40 degree Celsius, and it can be used within 0 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity condition. It has a net weight of 5.2 Kilograms (11.5 pounds) and an approximate volume of 149.7 x 257.3 x 104.1 millimeters (5.5 x 10.1 x 4.1 inches).
