About the LGE4630NN

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LGE4630NN is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker frame. Some aspects that set this circuit breaker frame apart from other Eaton circuit breakers is its slight lower level of performance, which is rated between 18 and 65 kAIC at a voltage range of between 600 and 240 Volts AC, and its frame, which has a performance level of 22 kAIC at a voltage of either 125 or 250 Volts DC. The LGE4630NN has an L Frame type. The circuit breaker frame has 0% neutral protection and its maximum operating current is rated at 630 Amps.

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LGE4630NN has a maximum rated DC short circuit breaking capacity of 42,000 Amps for 2 conducting paths arranged in series. The circuit breaker, as with other Eaton circuit breakers with an LG Frame type, has an endurance of 8000 operating cycles and a maximum switching frequency of 240 switches 1/hour. The LGE4630NN can accommodate either box terminals or flat bar terminals. The box terminals can withstand a torque of 31 N-m. The circuit breaker frame accommodates solid or stranded cables. If stranded cables are used, they should have a strand of between 95 and 240 millimeters square. However, if the cable has a fine strand, the strand thickness should not fall below 70 millimeters square and it should not exceed 150 millimeters square. Being among the G Series, the LGE4630NN is certified by the Underwriters Laboratory. Additionally, Eaton’s circuit breakers with an LG Frame type can accommodate either an electronic Digitrip RMS 310 trip unit, a fixed thermal adjustable magnetic trip unit, or adjustable thermal adjustable magnetic trip unit type.
