About the RGH316033E

The Eaton RGH316033E is a Series G electronic circuit breaker. The RGH316033E is a complete circuit breaker rated at 1600 Amps. It is rated for 125 kiloamps interrupt capacity at 240 Volts AC, 65 kiloamps interrupt capacity at 480 Volts AC, and for 50 kiloamps interrupt capacity at 600 Volts AC. The RGH316033E has three poles, it is rated for 50 and 60 Hertz frequency and it uses a Digitrip 310+ electronic LS trip unit. The insulation voltage rating for the conducting paths is 750 Volts AC and for the auxiliary circuits, it is 690 Volts AC. The impulses withstand voltage rating for the conducting paths is 8 kilovolts. The imperial tapped load and line terminals are included with the circuit breaker. A major advantage of the RGH316033E is that trip settings can be made through the electronic trip unit and therefore DIP switches are not required.

Other features of the circuit breaker include UL ratings, an undervoltage release, a shunt trip, interlocks, a bell alarm, an auxiliary switch, draw out cassettes, and a handle mechanism. Features of the trip unit include an adjustable long-time/short-time delay, a status indicator, a trip push button, and a test port which can be used to interface with a test kit, an ammeter, and an LED module for the cause of the trip. The installation and maintenance of the RGH316033E should only be performed by trained and qualified personnel. Power to the circuit breaker should be disconnected before any maintenance activity is performed. Dimensions of the R-frame RGH316033E are 15.5 x 15.5 x 9.75 inches. The weight of the circuit breaker is 102 pounds.
