The Eaton Cutler-Hammer RGH325032E molded case circuit breaker is an RG frame circuit breaker from Series G of the molded case circuit breakers designed for the protection of electrical machinery in a wide variety of applications. The RGH325032E circuit breaker, like every RG frame circuit breaker, features a compact design with field-fit accessories and an electronic trip unit for more precise protection. The RGH325032E circuit breaker is designed for 50 to 60 Hertz applications and it is suitable for the main circuit or branch circuit with 600 Volts AC operating voltage. It has a carrying current capacity of 2500 Amps and with an interrupting capacity of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. It features a short-time delay setting with a time range of up to 100 milliseconds and an instantaneous setting (override) set at 10 times the nominal trip rating. The RGH325032E circuit breaker has an adjustable long time delay setting with a time range between 2 and 24 seconds, and it has a thermal memory that implements a long delay mechanism to prevent the system from overheating due to repeated over-current conditions.

The RGH325032E circuit breaker utilizes the high-speed blow open contact design which uses electro-mechanical mechanisms produced by high circuit currents to keep the contacts open in the event of short-circuiting. It also has a trip-free toggle handle operating mechanism that also serves as the switching indicator (ON, OFF, and TRIPPED). The RGH325032E circuit breaker is rated at 100% operation at a standard operating temperature, and it comes with 3-pole wiring and copper/aluminum type terminals. The RGH325032E circuit breaker has a 40 degrees Celsius operating ambient temperature limit (without de-rating), and it can be stored within a factory designated -20 degree Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius temperature range.
